Roommate Policy

Guests who book a shared / double occupancy room will be assigned a roommate unless you specify who you would like to stay with. If you have a preferred roommate in mind, you will need to submit their full name in writing at the time of booking (there is a question when you purchase a package) or by emailing retreats@thrivingfeminine.com. They would also need to submit your name and purchase the same room type that you reserved for a guaranteed pairing.
All other roommates will be paired by the Retreat Organizer. The Retreat Organizer will attempt to match roommates based on their preferences, energy, and how they want to experience the Retreat but it is possible that not all pairings will be the perfect fit. Any roommate disagreements or disputes should be handled between roommates. Elizabeth Grace Ann Dunbar LLC DBA Thriving Feminine and its representatives will not step in to manage roommate conflicts or disputes, except where the Organizer determines in its sole discretion that a safety concern exists.
Any Guests that are concerned about being paired with a roommate have the opportunity to book a solo / single occupancy room while availability lasts.
While travel insurance is required for Guests on this trip, the Organizer does not recommend any specific insurers or travel insurance policies. The organizer suggests that Guests do their due diligence to research travel insurance that contains but is not limited to:

  • Adequate medical and medical evacuation coverage
  • Trip cancellation and interruption coverage / Cancel for any reason (CFAR) coverage
  • Force Majeure coverage (defined as covering any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer and/or Venue that prevents, substantially hinders, makes illegal, makes unsafe, or makes impossible the hosting of the Retreat as scheduled, including but not limited to acts of God (such as fire, flood, earthquake, or hurricane), war, civil unrest, terrorism or threats thereof, government-imposed restrictions or travel bans, pandemics, epidemics, labor strikes, failure of transportation systems, Organizer injury or illness, incarceration, Venue closure, death or incapacitation, or other unavoidable event or circumstance)
  • Sports and Hazardous Activity coverage (if you plan to partake in risky activities or ride scooters or motorcycles – which are a common mode of transportation in Bali)

Note: some of these types of coverage would be travel insurance policy add-ons.

Guests should be aware of what their insurance covers and should know how to contact the 24hr help line for their insurance before, during, and after the Retreat. Neither the Organizer nor the Organizer's employees, officers, sponsors, partners, interns, agents, or representatives will be responsible or liable for any losses, medical expenses, or consequences of the Guest's lack of adequate insurance coverage.
